Spotify Wrapped will soon flood the networks! The results are of interest to over half of users, but only less than a tenth share them

We are only a few days away from publishing our personal annual ranking of the most listened to music for 2025: Spotify Wrapped. The results will then flood social networks for a while, because users around the world like to share them and show off which artists, albums, genres or podcasts they listened to the most this year. But how many Czech users are really interested in these charts? And how many of them share them? We asked that in one of our latest surveys.
The research was conducted by the ResSOLUTION Group agency on a representative sample of a thousand respondents of the Czech internet population from the National Sample CZ (formerly the Czech National Panel) aged 15 and over.

Music streaming services
According to current data from ResSOLUTION Group, 36% of the internet population of Czechs over 15 years old is Spotify user, 35% is YouTube user Music and 5% of those who use it to stream music Apple MusicOther apps, such as Tidal or Deezer, are used by only a few percent of respondents, while 36% of respondents do not currently use any music streaming platform.
It is perhaps not surprising that some of the services mentioned are more often used by younger respondents, mainly those aged 15-34. The only exception is YouTube. Music, which is used most by respondents aged 35–54.
Spotify Wrapped
In our research, we took a closer look at the interest in annual results of personal listening habits on the most used platform Spotify, known as Spotify Wrapped. These usually appear in users’ profiles in late November or early December. More than half (54%) of Czech users of the service are usually interested in their results. This applies to a greater extent to women and, in terms of age, to the youngest category of 15-34 years. However, 28% of those surveyed only view them, but do not share them in any way. 15% share them in private conversations with their acquaintances (among the youngest users, this is 24%) and only 8% of Czech Spotify users share them publicly on their social networks (among the youngest, 13%).
What about users on Spotify Wr results?appWhat interests you most? The largest part of those who are interested in these charts are curious about the artists, songs and genres they listened to in a given year – three quarters of those surveyed answered this way. More than half (53%) are then interested in the development of their musical taste. A quarter follow them to compare their listening with other users and 15% are interested in the visual presentation of Spotify itself Wrapped, which takes the form of short personalized animations.
Regarding Spotify Wr resultsapped other people, 83% of the sample answered that they were not interested. Only 10% said they were interested in their friends’ results shared in private conversations, and 8% showed interest in posts with these rankings on social networks. 4% are interested in results shared by celebrities or well-known personalities.
