Olivia Attwood has teased her This Morning future on social media as she said that pulling out of Loose Women at the last minute left her feeling ‘defeated’.

The former Love Island star was due to be one of four panelists discussing the major talking points of the day and conducting interviews on Friday’s (November 28) edition of Loose Women. However, Olivia was nowhere to be seen as Kaye Adams, Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha spoke to Death in Paradise’s Ben Miller.

Explaining why Olivia was nowhere to be seen, Kaye told viewers: “First, you might have noticed and then there were three, there’s just three of us here today. Liv was meant to be with us.

“Oh my goodness, she came into the morning meeting, she’s a trooper. But, she was just dying! Wasn’t she? She’s had bug, after bug, after bug for the last month. So Liv, I don’t know if she’s watching, she’s probably under a duvet somewhere.”

Kaye added: “It’s just going around! Nadia, you wouldn’t come near me this morning because I’ve got my cough sweeties.”

Prior to the episode getting underway, Olivia took to Instagram account with a picture of the ITV medical team assessing her as she apologised to viewers for missing her Loose Women duties.

“I’m really sorry to anyone that was expecting me to be on Loose Women today. Got to work and my body finally said no. Thank you to the team for looking after me. Back soon,” she stated.

Olivia later posted a video on Tiktok to reveal that she was struggling with Strep Throat and flu. According to the NHS, strep A as a common type of bacteria, with most infections’ mild and easily treated. Symptoms of strep A include flu-like symptoms, such as a high temperature, swollen glands or an aching body, sore throat (strep throat or tonsillitis), a rash that feels rough, like sandpaper (scarlet fever), scabs and sores (impetigo), pain and swelling (cellulitis), severe muscle aches, nausea and vomiting.

“I’m the firstborn daughter, first granddaughter, Taurus. I don’t listen to anyone. Apparently that includes my body. I just don’t like being defeated. This f****g thing has defeated me. And now I’m on like 24 hours of doctor ordered lying about, being f*****g bone idle is what I call it…

“My half English, half German DNA is not coping well with being sedentary on the ADHD. Yeah. So anyone got any tips on how I can remain sedentary so I can get better? Because I have a f*****g crazy f******g schedule next week,” Olivia said.

On top of asking her followers for movie recommendation, Olivia took part in a Q&A on her story to keep herself entertained. One fan asked: “Are you still going to be a presenter on This Morning?”. to which Olivia replied: “Yeh I’m coming back for more – can’t get rid of me now 2026.”

Olivia made her debut on the ITV breakfast programme in August as Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard enjoyed some time off from their presenting duties. Presenting alongside Dermot O’Leary, Olivia was one of a number of temporary hosts brought in to fill in for Cat and Ben during their break.

Recently reflecting on how she found her first stint on the programme, she said: “I loved it and luckily they loved me, which was all I was worried about. They were happy and I did the slots I had over summer. From their side and our side, we’d like it to be a repeat thing.

“Now it’s going back into regular scheduling with Cat and Ben so it’s more just where and when I could pop back in and obviously around the other things I’m doing.”
