Cash ISA reforms are chance for ETFs to win young investors

The chancellor’s decision to cut the cash ISA allowance to £12,000 for everyone under 65 is a chance to boost exchange trade fund (ETF) flows.
Several savings and tax experts who spoke to Citywire said the unusual nature of bringing down the £20,000 limit for those under a certain age should favour ETF providers.
‘ISA reforms are a clear positive for retail ETF adoption,’ said PwC asset & wealth management tax partner Hazell Hallam.
