Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix appeared on Loose Women and shared their injury was found two weeks prior to sudden exit.
As the remaining celebrities made it to the dazzling lights of Blackpool to perform, it was announced that La Voix was forced to withdraw from the competition following an injury during rehearsal.
The 45-year-old was initially given a bye to the next round of the competition after the injury was announced, but was then it was confirmed that La Voix would have to leave the dancefloor.
No celebrities were eliminated that week, but it was actress Alex Kingston who was the latest star to bid farewell to the competition.
On Wednesday (December 3), La Voix sat down with the Loose Women panellists to discuss theit time on the BBC show.
Reflecting on their exit, La Voix said: “I bawled my eyes out in that rehearsal room when I realised I was not going to be able to carry on.
“I haven’t really told anyone what I’ve done, but I’ve got a fractured metatarsal. Tricky little bone.
Their injury happened a couple weeks before the exit, as La Voix admitted: “I did two weeks on the show not knowing I’d broken my foot. I didn’t want to tell anyone, I was in so much pain.
“I knew that might be the end of the line, so I thought maybe it’s muscular, I’d get over it. Then we did the Couple’s Choice, that’s why I had to wear the flat shoes.
“We had the comment from Shirley Ballas saying, ‘you’re flat footed’, and I thought well you do it with a broken foot! But I couldn’t say anything.”

Reflecting on their time on Strictly, the performer said: “It’s the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done in my life, but also really enjoyable. When I got the Cha Cha and I got a two, that stays with you all week.
“I loved it. It’s relentless and exhausting, but it is absolutely everything. My favourite it was just being embraced so beautifully by everyone on that show, Tess and Claudia.”
La Voix will also be joining the Strictly tour, and revealed: “You haven’t seen the last of me! The boot will be off. Hopefully I’ll be back doing all sorts, Paso Double, Couple’s Choice.
“I don’t know what we’re gonna pick yet, but I’m excited.”
