Kendall Jenner’s Icy Gown Glows Like a Beautiful Christmas Ornament

Kendall Jenner brought the holiday spirit last night by seemingly paying tribute to a beloved Christmas character: the Grinch.
While at the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth 20th anniversary event in Los Angeles, the supermodel honored the classic children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (and its subsequent film adaptation), by interpreting the characters’ furry, over-the-top looks with a fashion insider’s eye. Draped in a shaggy, snow-white gown from Bottega Veneta, she was like the most glamorous Who in Whoville.
The dress had a netted base, and was covered entirely in shimmery tassels, which bunched together resembled icy fur, or a beautiful crystal Christmas ornament. A round neckline, mid-length sleeves, and a high leg slit made up the silhouette of the elegant design.

Continuing the powdery tones, Jenner paired the statement gown with the fashion house’s ruched leather Sofia pumps in an Easter yellow. And ever the minimalist, she rounded out the ensemble with medium gold hoops, soft glam, and a neat, slicked-back low bun.

The L’Oréal ambassador—who closed out the brand’s Paris show this year, for the third time—posed on the red carpet alongside mom Kris Jenner, who repped the holidays in a more classic way: dressed in Christmas red. Her ruched gown was pierced at the waist with a large black bow, which perfectly matched her structured blazer and jet-black updo. Black gloves, diamond jewelry, and a silver clutch tied her festive look together.
