It wasn’t what Milwaukee Bucks fans wanted to see.

On a day when there were reports about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the Milwaukee Bucks, the two-time MVP fell to the court with a right lower-leg injury just three minutes into a game with the Detroit Pistons on Dec. 3 at Fiserv Forum.

Antetokounmpo had just handed out an assist to A.J Green and was headed down the court when he crumpled after a non-contact injury.

He sat on the court until he was helped up. Antetokounmpo walked under his own power to the bench before heading to the locker room. His teammate and brother, Thanasis, soon headed back with him.

The team announced he would be out for the rest of the game with a right calf strain.

This sotry will be updated with new information.
