Kamloops Blazers Unveil Striking New Orange Alternate Jersey

The Kamloops Blazers have debuted a bold new orange alternate jersey that made its first appearance on November 29. This unveiling occurred during a game against the Penticton Vees at the Sandman Centre. The jersey revisits a classic style, essentially representing what the team might have sported in an NHL Reverse Retro program.

Jersey Design and Features

The primary color of the new jersey is orange, which is typically a secondary color for the Blazers. It features a distinctive design that includes:

  • A broad white stripe with navy blue taping across the shoulders and down each sleeve.
  • A navy blue panel that takes over the forearm area, reminiscent of the style worn from 1987 to 2004.
  • The front showcases “BLAZERS” in navy blue letters with white outlines, each letter adorned with three white stripes and small flames within the B, A, and R.
  • White and navy blue stripes of equal width encircle the waist and shins of the socks.
  • The Blazers’ primary logo is located on the right shoulder, with their alternate logo introduced in 2015 on the left shoulder.

Numbers and Nameplate Details

The jersey incorporates solid navy blue numbers on the sleeves, complemented by navy blue numbers with white outlines on the back. Player names are displayed in navy blue on a contrasting white nameplate. The collar features navy blue with a white Under Armour logo and lace details at the front.

Performance in the New Jersey

The Kamloops Blazers enjoyed a successful debut with their new alternate jersey, triumphantly defeating the Penticton Vees 7-5. As of now, the Blazers have not revealed when they will wear this striking orange jersey again.
