CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A man at large for several sex abuse charges was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Virginia Wednesday.
Jonathan Christopher Walton, 22, from Virginia, is alleged to have traveled to Iowa to have a sexual relationship with a minor.
Investigators in Iowa followed a lead in March that Walton may have fled back to Virginia and began coordinating with U.S. Marshals.
Officers say they located Walton in Rice, Virginia, around 3 p.m. and arrested him without incident.
Walton was taken to Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville, Virginia, until he can be moved to Iowa.
