🔥 Man City duo shine in first-half display vs Sunderland

Manchester City are on the hunt to close the gap to Premier League title rival Arsenal as they enjoy a 2-0 lead against Sunderland at half-time.
A thunderbolt hit from Rúben Dias was followed up by a goal from centre-back partner Joško Gvardiol to push Pep Guardiola’s troops well ahead of the visiting Black Cats.

But it’s been the players behind the goals that deserve praise at the Etihad this afternoon, with Phil Foden and Rayan Cherki putting on their creative hats to help City get on the board during a dominant first-half performance.
With that, Foden has now contributed five goal involvements in his last three Premier League appearances across a 2025 campaign that could see the academy graduate back at his best.
As for Cherki, the gifted Frenchman now stands at a combined 10 goals and assists in just seven starts since arriving from Lyon in the summer, per Statmuse.
