Strictly Come Dancing star Balvinder Sopal issued an apology to Craig Revel Horwood following a ‘perfect’ dance.

The remaining five celebrities returned to the Strictly ballroom on Saturday evening (December 6) as the quarter-final of the competition arrived.

EastEnders star Balvinder and her professional partner, Julian, danced a challenging Viennese Waltz to Never Enough from The Greatest Showman.

The duo impressed both judges and the audience at home; however, Balvinder said “sorry” to Craig during his criticism.

Following Balvinder’s routine, she looked on emotionally as she waited to hear feedback from Craig, head judge Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke.

Anton told the duo: “I think I love you now, more than ever now. I have to tell you this, firstly, congratulations because this was epic. This was an epic performance.”

However, Craig added, “I have to be particular, because you know we’re getting on in the competition. You’re still a little bit turned in on occasion, I can see you have corrected it.

“On the final lift, one toe should remain on the floor at all times, which is absolutely correct. You were just a little bit off. It’s really important what the hands and feet are doing, that’s all.”

Balvinder replied: “I am so sorry”. However, Strictly viewers called her routine “incredible” and predicted she may win the glitterball trophy.

Taking to X, one person wrote: “That was made for Bal. Looked and danced beautifully. Hope she’s very proud of herself #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing #SCD.”

A second stated: “BALVINDER YOU WINNER #Strictly”, while a third chimed in: “Balvinder- that was incredible #Strictly #strictlycomedancing.”
