INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police say a man has died after a shooting on the east side early Saturday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened just before 1 a.m. on East 10th Street, just east of Rural Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man lying near the road suffering a gunshot wound. He died shortly after arriving at a hospital.
No word yet from IMPD as to what led to the shooting or if there are any suspects.
