I’m A Celebrity’s Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, has captured the affections of ITV audiences with his razor-sharp humour and charisma.
The online star, 24, first gained recognition through his gaming broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube, producing content aimed at Gen-Z audiences. Nevertheless, his appearance on the ITV reality programme has expanded his fanbase across all age groups.
Right from the opening episode, Angry Ginge and his mate Aitch have had viewers in fits of laughter, and it appears they’re not going anywhere.
Despite his current celebrity status, Angry Ginge’s modest origins are worlds apart from his present-day success. The personality resided in a £350 monthly mouldy bedsit with crumbling wallpaper and lacking a shower.

In a recent clip, he transported his followers back to “the room where it all started,” exposing his previous accommodations and leaving viewers stunned by its state.
Whilst displaying his former dwelling, Angry Ginge couldn’t resist giggling at the peculiarities of his old quarters, including a door missing its handle. “There is no door handle,” he chuckled, showing how the door needed to be wrenched open from the edge simply to get in or out of the space.
He revealed the flaking, mould-covered wallpaper coating the ceiling, stating: “I mean, just f****** look at it”. Ginge then exposed the “soundproofing” that had been fitted to enable him to broadcast without creating a disturbance.

Yet, he proclaimed it achieved “absolutely f*** all” as it was merely cardboard and foam attached to the wall. “Here is the window that the neighbour knocked on because I was being too loud at five o’clock, he narrated, directing the camera towards the upstairs window.
He then unveiled the “actual room”, featuring a grimy floor that seemed to be covered in blue-patterned linoleum rather than carpet.
An irate Ginge also let slip that there used to be a bed in the tiny space, which left viewers gobsmacked, given how tight the room was.
The walls were also speckled with numerous stains. “This is a throwback,” he mused, adding the caption: “The memories,” explaining that this was where his journey had begun.

As expected, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans, as one said, “From there to millions in the bank. Amazing.”
Another commented, “Made the right guy famous.” A third added: “Most honest streamer out there! Deserves all he’s got!”
While a fourth chimed in saying, “Just shows no matter your situation or background, you can better yourself,” as a fifth wrote, “The come up is insane.”
