Top 10 highest US lottery jackpots all clear $1 billion
The Mega Millions jackpot was won at $980 million in the Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, drawing, and almost made the top 10 highest US lottery jackpots list.
MIDDLETOWN – Two Monmouth County lottery tickets won on the same day, netting nearly $4 million in jackpot prizes.
A winning ticket sold at the One Stop Food Store, on Main Street in the Belford neighborhood of Middletown, matched all five balls in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing. The winner will take home a jackpot of more than $2.8 million.
The winning numbers were 10, 17, 33, 38 and 43, with a Bullseye number of 33 and XTRA number of 02.
It was the game’s highest individual prize of the year. The record jackpot was $3.8 million, split by two players on Oct. 7.
Meanwhile, a jackpot-winning ticket in the New Jersey Lottery’s Cash 4 Life game was sold at County Farm, at 3335 Adelphia Road, in Howell.
The winning lottery numbers were 34, 44, 50, 51 and 58, with a cash ball number of 01. The winner hit all five numbers, but missed on the cash ball.
Their consolation prize? A cool $1 million.
It’s the sixth million-dollar prize this year. In May, a winner in Union County took home a $7 million prize.
The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was reset to $150,000, following the Dec. 5 winning ticket.
The $2 Cash 4 Life ticket has two jackpot prizes — $1,000 a day for life, with a current cash value of $7 million, or $1,000 a week for life, witha cash value of $1 million. There are seven other prize levels, with values up to $2,500 that could double with a $1 add-on. Drawings are held every day at 9 p.m.
