Major BART delays reported due to power issues in San Francisco

A power issue on Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) has disrupted multiple lines and led to major delays throughout the system during the Monday morning commute.
Shortly after 7:30 a.m., the agency first reported the issue between the Powell and Embarcadero stations in downtown San Francisco. and that crews are on the scene.

The issue has halted all Red Line and Green Line service. Meanwhile there is limited Yellow Line service through the Transbay Tube and limited Blue Line service between Dublin / Pleasanton and the Bay Fair station in San Leandro.
Officials said all 50 BART stations on the system remain open, but riders may need to make transfers to complete their trip.
For riders on the Green Line between Berryessa and Daly City, passengers on the San Francisco line can board a Dublin / Pleasanton train and transfer at Bay Fair to a Berryessa train, while those traveling from Berryessa can board a Richmond train and transfer to a Daly City train at Bay Fair.
On the Blue Line, passengers traveling from Dublin should transfer at Bay Fair to an Orange Line train and transfer at 12th Street Oakland City Center for a Yellow Line train to SFO. From the Daly City station, passengers should take a Yellow Line train, transfer at 12th Street to an Orange Line train and transfer again at Bay Fair to a Blue Line train.
For Red Line service, passengers from Richmond should take an Orange Line train and transfer at MacArthur to a Yellow Line train to SFO.
It was not immediately known when service would be restored.
