Capcom’s Pragmata Launches April 24, 2026 for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; Steam Demo Today

Capcom has announced that its upcoming action-shooter game Pragmata will be released on April 24, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
A new trailer was shared with this news, alongside the confirmation that a Steam gameplay demo will be available today.
Set in a near-future where the discovery of Lunam Ore has revolutionized material replication through Lunafilament, the story begins when contact is lost with a lunar research station.
Players control Hugh Williams, a specialist sent to investigate the blackout. After a quake separates him from his team, Hugh is alone until an android resembling a young girl saves him. Named Diana, this advanced Lunafilament-based construct becomes Hugh’s ally to escape the lunar base.
Combat in Pragmata is built upon the synergy of Hugh’s weaponry and Diana’s hacking. A panel appears during battles, where players use a cursor to disable enemy defenses, exposing the enemies and allowing Hugh to deal great damage with his firearm.
Exploration is also reliant on both characters. Diana’s hacking comes into play to bypass locked systems and environmental puzzles, while Hugh can activate his thrusters to traverse otherwise inaccessible terrain.
