Teaser Trailer: The New “Street Fighter” Movie

Paramount Pictures

Tonight’s The Game Awards saw the release of the teaser trailer for the new “Street Fighter” film. Shot in Australia throughout much of the second half of the year, the film only wrapped a few weeks ago.

Much of the cast showed up in person at the ceremony, including Jason Momoa, Andrew Koji and a tank top wearing Noah Centineo, to present an award – and even make a joke at the expense of “Mortal Kombat”.

The film’s massive cast includes Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Orville Peck as Vega, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Mel Jarnson as Cammy, Alexander Volkanovski as Joe, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, and Eric Andre as Don Sauvage.

Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury.

But behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past. And if they don’t, it’s GAME OVER!

Legendary Entertainment is co-developing and co-producing the project with Capcom. Paramount Pictures is set to release the film on October 16th 2026.
