After meeting with Johnny Depp, known as Jack Sparrow, at the Red Sea Film Festival in Abu Dhabi, Kartik Aaryan is now gearing up for a film project with Black Swan filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. The Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri star shared an entertaining video of his encounter with Darren on social media, where they enjoyed chai and even engaged in push-up challenges together. Kartik Aaryan and Darren Aronofsky collaborate on a film at Red Sea Film Festival
On Instagram, Kartik shared the video recorded on December 9, captioning it, “Aaryanofsky Brothers @darrenaronofsky.” In the clip, the American director remarks, “My longtime friend Kartik, I want to greet all of his fans. We’re spending time together.” The video then transitions to the two performing push-ups in a group setting.
Later, Darren addresses the camera, saying, “You know, I’ve visited India several times, and one of my favorite actors is right here,” while Kartik adds, “We’re enjoying a cup of chai.” The pair continue to have fun as Darren comments, “I believe he’s going to become a major star in India. In America, we are big fans, but I think India will soon come to appreciate him.” The Bollywood actor humorously responds, “Thanks for ruining my day.”
When Darren inquires if Kartik would invite him to India to create a film featuring “a lot of song and dance,” Kartik replies that a commercial film would be fantastic. The video concludes with the two new friends embracing, and Darren stating, “An honor to know you.”

The Chandu Champion star is eagerly anticipating the Christmas Day premiere of his romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri alongside co-star Ananya Panday. In the upcoming year, Kartik also has Anurag Basu’s untitled romance featuring Sreeleela and the horror film Naagzilla in the works.
