Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin leaves Amber Davies in tears with sweet tribute
Ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing semi-finals, Nikita Kuzmin surprised Amber Davies with a video of their first ever routine on the show.
Amber had just hours to prepare for the first show after stepping in last minute after Dani Dyer was forced to withdraw from the competition.
In a video posted on Instagram, Amber could be seen breaking down in tears as she watched her first dance, which was a Waltz.
She told Nikita: “I can’t even talk. We like barely knew each other.”
“We just scraped for everything, we tried the last minute dress, tried everything,” he replied.

Amber continued: “I was like shaking as well from head to toe wasn’t I? I remember just thinking, look into his eyes, look into his eyes.
“You made your eyes a comfort place for me. It’s such a simple routine.”
Nikita laughed: “In comparison to everything we’ve done afterwards.”
The pair joked about how good Amber’s frame was and how they wanted to make it to the end of the routine.
“Now you’re my best friend in the world,” Amber told Nikita.

The professional dancer replied: “Out of my whole experience on this show. I have two special first dance moments.
“And it was my first ever dance I’ve ever done on the show. And this one. Cause this was just like crazy wasn’t it?”
For the semi-final, all couples will be performing two routines. Amber and Nikita will perform a Couple’s Choice to Fly Me to the Moon by RAYE for their first routine and a Tango to Higher by Michael Buble for their second dance.
