The Straits area is currently experiencing blowing snow and limited visibility. If you plan to cross the Mackinac Bridge, please be aware of the following safety instructions:
- Reduce your speed to 20 mph maximum
- Turn on low-beam headlights
- Use extreme caution — road surfaces may be slippery
The Mackinac Bridge Authority is actively monitoring conditions at several points along the structure and may implement additional safety measures if needed.
