Coolmore company pleads guilty over the destruction of 1km of historic hedgerow on farm owned by Magnier children

A Coolmore company has pleaded guilty to four counts of breaching EU environmental laws by destroying over 1,150 metres of “historic hedgerows” and undertaking other work on a Tipperary farm without proper permissions.

Shem Drowne Ltd, whose directors are Coolmore executives Conor Spain and David Gleeson, pleaded guilty at Clonmel Circuit Court today to four charges brought by the Department of Agriculture.
