Sektioui: Reaching the final is good, but winning the title is most important to us
Tarik Sektioui, the coach of the Moroccan national team, confirmed that his team will face a tough match against Jordan in the Arab Cup final.
The Moroccan national team will face the Jordanian national team tomorrow, Thursday, in the final of the Arab Cup at Lusail Stadium.
Al-Saktawi said at the press conference before the match: “The game will not be easy because it is a final, and as you know, the importance of winning this precious title is significant, whether for us or for the national team.”
Al-Saktawi added that the preparations took place in a family atmosphere, filled with responsibility, seriousness, and a spirit of patriotism, emphasizing that the players will undertake their final training session with high morale.
He pointed out that: “Our concern and main focus is to honor national football, and to live up to the expectations of 40 million passionate Moroccan football fans.”
Al-Saktawi emphasized that winning the title and bringing back the cup is the most important goal, stressing that success in the final will be a crowning achievement for the efforts made.
He concluded: “Reaching the final is definitely a good achievement, but winning the title and bringing the cup home is what matters most to us.”
