The sixth Final Destinationmovie, 2025’s Final Destination: Bloodlines, was the most successful film in the franchise’s long history, and a seventh movie is already in development. Bloodlines brought in $314.6 million worldwide when it was released in theaters earlier this year.
Bloodlines was directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, but per Deadline, a new director is being sought for the seventh movie. New Line is in talks with Belgian filmmaker Michiel Blanchart to direct Final Destination 7. Blanchart previously directed the short film, You’re Dead Helen, which took home prizes at the Brussels International Film Festival and the Gérardmer Film Festival.
