Who is Brison Fernandes, winger who scored FC Goa’s first goal in ACL 2 match against Al Nassr?

Local boy Brison Fernandes scored FC Goa’s first goal in the ongoing AFC Champions League Two campaign during the side’s match against Al Nassr on Wednesday at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa.
The left winger scored in the 41st minute against the Saudi Pro League outfit after the Gaurs found themselves chasing after a two-goal deficit.
He had come on for an injured Javier Siverio in the 24th minute.

Brison was named the Indian Super League’s Emerging Player of the Year after the 2024-25 season. From featuring in Goa’s Under-18 team to being an outright starter, it has been quite a rise for Brison.
Brison has managed to impress with his dribbling and shooting capability, scoring seven goals and assisting twice. The 23-year-old created 27 chances for the Gaurs and provided 25 key passes into the final third in the last ISL season. With his direct play, the left-winger emerged as one of the most exciting young Indian players to watch this season.
FC Goa and former Indian national team head coach Manolo Marquez was all praise for his midfielder saying, “I’ve always said he’s one of the best players I’ve coached in my five years in India.”
