Stephen Fry ‘drops clue’ he knows more than what’s been shown on Celeb Traitors

CELEBRITY Traitors fans have been left confused after Stephen Fry let slip a clue that he knows more than what’s been shown on screen.
During Wednesday night’s episode, the celebrities gathered at the roundtable for another banishment and as they shared their speculations, the 68-year-old revealed there were three traitors among them.

Unbeknownst to the faithfuls, Claudia Winkleman picked Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns to be the traitors on day one and they’ve been picking off the faithfuls one by one.
While typically the UK version of the show has always kicked off with three traitors, the rules state that there could be up to five traitors and it is never explicitly stated how many there are.
Stephen’s slip-up came when a usually reserved Cat was put on the spot to tell the others who she thinks are the traitor are.
She looked at Stephen and said: “I think it’s kind of between you and Jonathan.

The QI host jumped in: “No it’s not between us,” before adding: “You do know there’s three.”
BBC One viewers picked up on Stephen’s comment and flocked to X to share their thoughts.
One person asked: “When Cat said to Stephen ‘it’s between you and Jonathan’, why did no-one pick up Stephen saying ‘there are three of them’ – how would he know?”
Another fan commented: “Why has nobody pointed out Stephen has said there are three traitors so confidently twice now? I would be gagging him at the roundtable with that.”
Somebody else expressed: “Tut tut Stephen. You’re smarter than this.”
Yet another wrote: “How does Stephen know there are three traitors? Or was he trying to catch Cat out?”
While a fifth added: “Did Stephen say to Cat is there not three traitors and she said yes?”
19 celebrities started the game and now just 12 remain, with all three traitors still going undetected with the faithfuls.
Paloma Faith was the first to be murdered after real-life pal Alan killed her in plain sight by touching her face.
The traitors then murdered Tom Daley, Ruth Codd and on Wednesday night’s opening scenes, it was revealed they had killed Charlotte Church.
Meanwhile, Niko Omilana, Tameka Empson and Clare Balding have all failed to plead their cases and were banished during the roundtables.

Last night’s tense episode ended on a cliffhanger after the famous faces whittled it down to either David Olusoga or Mark Bonnar to be banished from the castle.
Each star received four votes each, with Claudia telling them it was a draw and they would have to re-vote either David or Mark.
They voted again but with five votes each, it was a draw for the second time – which is a first in the show’s history.
Claudia ended the episode by telling them: “We will leave this banishment to the hands of fate.”
