The reasons Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid are in for big Week 8 fantasy games in Bills vs. Panthers

The Buffalo Bills need to bounce back.
They’re coming off a bye, but in the two weeks that preceded the bye, the Bills lost.
They went from 4-0 to 4-2, but they should be refreshed and ready to rock against the Carolina Panthers in Week 8.
And there’s two things about this matchup in particular that should bode well for the Bills and for the fantasy football outlooks for two of their pass catchers, Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid.
These couple of stats, via Eric Moody of ESPN, show great promise for a bounceback week for the Bills.
The first relates to how Shakir should have success against the way Carolina defends. Shakir leads the Bills in yards per route run against zone coverage. No team plays more zone coverage than the Panthers.
Then there’s Kincaid: The Panthers have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to tight ends.

The Panthers have also generally been scored on a lot, allowing more than 20 points in all but two games. The Bills are coming off consecutive games in which they didn’t score 20.
Buffalo hasn’t gone on a three in a row streak of not scoring 20 points since 2020, per ESPN.
The Bills offense will just need their defense to get off the field. The Panthers are great at running the football, and they’ve now got both Rico Dowdle and Chuba Hubbard healthy.
If Buffalo can get the ball to its offense, the Bills’ offense should move the ball just fine, likely with heavy doses of Shakir and Kincaid.
