Is Josh Hart playing for Knicks today vs. Heat?

The New York Knicks’ injury report has been filled lately.
Most of the franchise’s key contributors have appeared in the first two outings, but it wasn’t a given before the start of both contests (the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics).
Josh Hart, along with Mitchell Robinson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Deuce McBride, appeared on the Knicks’ injury report ahead of the Sunday evening contest vs. the Miami Heat.
Is Josh Hart playing today vs. the Heat?
Hart is listed as probable for New York’s upcoming clash against the Heat (lower back/ back spasms), meaning that barring an unexpected development, the Villanova product will be active for the second straight game.
Hart’s lower back injury caused him to miss the New York season opener against the Cavaliers.
Luckily for New York, they received valuable contributions from several different players and grinded out a 119-111 victory at Madison Square Garden.
Hart rejoined the Knicks on Friday in the franchise’s 105-95 win over the Celtics. From a scoring perspective, the 6-foot-5 guard struggled to make a noticeable impact, as he only recorded two points in 19 minutes.
However, because Hart is a do-it-all role player who can positively affect games when he isn’t putting points on the board, he found alternative ways to be productive in his 2025-26 season debut.
The 30-year-old recorded 14 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and held his weight on the defensive end while on the hardwood.
Hart will look to build on his encouraging performance against the 1-1 Heat.
