B.C. can expect more stormy weather this week as an active pattern sticks around, with unsettled conditions anticipated in the days up to and on Halloween
After a stormy, impactful weekend that yielded travel disruptions to parts of the B.C. coast, the unsettled pattern will continue as we head into the days leading up to Halloween.
In fact, the wet pattern will continue into the early days of November, as well. There will be some breaks between systems, but it looks like a potent and soggy storm, possibly an atmospheric river, will impact the region for Halloween.

Stormy weather leading up to, and on, Halloween
Don’t put away the rain gear just yet. Following a brief calm early this week, another wave of storm systems will approach the coast beginning Tuesday.
Rain and snow are forecast to continue Monday before a new wave of strong winds hits the northern and central coasts by Tuesday evening. Coastal sections could see gusts exceeding 100 km/h.
Those winds will likely be strong enough to prompt wind warnings from northern Vancouver Island to the North Coast.
Heavy snowfall will spread across Coast Mountains into the Interior through Wednesday morning.
Precipitation intensity will ease Wednesday and Thursday across the south, but will continue along the central and northern coastline with rain and snow.
