It was a game that featured two teams with the same 4-2 record, but on the court, the home side was clearly better.
Zalgiris Kaunas dominated Virtus Bologna to grab a comfortable 86-65 win, and jump to 5-2.
Thanks to a great start, which included a 25-11 first quarter, the home team was able to manage its lead throughout the whole game and even get a bigger average against the Italian team.
Sylvain Francisco had his best game of the season, finishing with 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 10 assists. Moses Wright also had a great game, with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Matthew Morgan (19 points) and Alen Smailagic (12 points and 5 rebounds) were Virtus’ best players, which dropped to 4-3 and couldn’t be in a position to turn things around in Kaunas.
