Freddie Freeman’s wife Chelsea has one-word reaction to Dodgers’ Game 2 World Series win

Chelsea Freeman was fired up Saturday night as husband Freddie Freeman’s Dodgers evened the World Series at one apiece.

Taking to her Instagram Stories after L.A.’s 5-1 road victory in Toronto, the mother of three wrote, “Yayayayyyyyy!!!!” alongside a video of ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto celebrating his dominant showing against the Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre.

The Dodgers’ $325 million man dazzled in nine innings, striking out eight in his second straight complete game.

“My pitching style is just keep attacking the zone,” Yamamoto said via an interpreter. “To be honest, I was not thinking I can complete the game because my pitch count racked up kind of quickly. But I’m very happy I completed the game.”

Yamamoto’s excellence early on even helped Freeman shake off a second-inning error, when the star first baseman overran an infield pop-up.

The Dodgers are looking to capture their second consecutive championship after downing the Yankees in five games last October.

The 36-year-old Freeman has leaned on the support of Chelsea, his wife of 11 years.

A former real estate agent turned entrepreneur, Chelsea has cheered on Freeman throughout the postseason, including the moment the Dodgers clinched a 2025 World Series berth after sweeping the Brewers in the NLCS.

“WORLD SERIES BOUND,” she gushed on Instagram Oct. 18, posting a family photo at Dodger Stadium featuring the couple’s three children: sons Charlie, 9, Brandon, 4, and Max, 4.

The Freeman family grappled with a challenging 2024 when Max was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, “a condition in which the body’s immune system attacks the nerves,” and can result in “weakness, numbness or paralysis,” per the Mayo Clinic.

Max spent more than a week in the Pediatric ICU last summer before he was released.

Chelsea told The Post in early 2025 that Max “is doing really great,” and expanded on his progress.

“He’s still in physical therapy, he’s going to be doing that probably through July, so it’s on track with the one-year recovery from Guillain-Barré, but he’s doing absolutely fantastic,” she said at the time.

Game 3 of the World Series shifts to the West Coast on Monday night.
