Malala Yousafzai is still only 28 years old, but her life has been more eventful than that of most people three times her age.
As a child, she became famous for speaking out about life under the Taliban in the mountainous region of Pakistan where she grew up. They were eventually sent packing, but the Taliban had memories longer than their beards. When she was 15, a gunman boarded the school bus on which she was travelling, and asked: “Who is Malala?”
