Zachary Levi slammed as ‘failed actor’ as he takes aim at politician on Fox News

Fox News hosts have made their thoughts on California Governor Gavin Newsom clear, referring to him as “deranged,” and now, Fox and Friends welcomed actor Zachary Levi as a guest to also share his thoughts on the Democratic politician.
In a Friday, Oct. 31 episode of the morning show, Levi, 45, who has become a conservative pundit since voicing his support for Donald Trump in the 2024 election, was interviewed by Lawrence B Jones, 32, as he shared why he had left the state.
And while some have praised Newsom’s recent trolling of the Trump administration, even claiming he deserved a Nobel Peace Prize for it, Levi held a different view.
During his interview with Jones, he slammed the Governor, admitting he found him to a “liar” who was “constantly spinning.”
He also claimed he had friends who held different political views from him who were also unhappy with Newsom’s performance.
“I think that, unfortunately, there’s a lot of people, alot of friends that I have that are progressive, that are liberal, that are wonderful folks, that are from California, that are disappointed with Gavin Newsom and how he has run that state into the ground, and he has,” Levi said in his scathing rebuke.
“Hollywood has been outsourced everywhere else at this point to many other countries and other states so there wasn’t really a reason for me to stay, and a lot of other people in my industry, but also other industries, flee, because why would you stay in a place that’s taking all your tax money at such exorbitant levels?” he said.
“It’d be one thing if you could see the evidence of positive change,” he added. “You want to tax me 50 cents on every dollar, but I’m looking at a state that’s thriving and flourishing, and people are living better lives, you know, maybe I could live with that.”
Levi left California back in 2019.
He was best known for his starring roles in the TV series Chuck, as well as films like Tangled, Shazam! and Harold and the Purple Crayon.
