The Fortnite Spice skin is in the Item Shop right now, here’s how much it costs and when it leaves

The Fortnite Spice skin is a new original outfit that has been leaked for some time, and is finally available in the Item Shop. Here’s everything you need to know about the Meow-o’-Lantern set.

Fortnitemares may only be around for a few more days, but it’s rolled out an original skin that players have been eagerly awaiting since it first leaked.

Fortnite has been ramping up on cosmetics lately, which won’t come as a shock to anyone who recently joined a lobby. The major Fortnitemares event has been offering loads for players to splash their hard-earned cash on, with the Fortnitemares skins release dates providing them a full rundown of when to invest their V-Bucks and the Tron Ares bundle giving them a glimpse into the digital world of the films (even if the recent one didn’t fare too well). Skins are doing well, but times are shifting.

We’re nearing the end of Fortnitemares for this year as the Simpsons mini-event looms and the Simpsons Battle Pass skins leak, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still original skins on the horizon. We’re still expecting the arrival of a new Xenomorph from Alien: Earth, but there’s an original character that players have had their sights on for a while.

The Fortnite Spice skin is a simple one, presenting as a basic catgirl outfit with a pumpkin head. It’s somewhat spooky, but it hasn’t deterred players from longing for it – particularly now that it’s been revealed that the outfit is surprisingly affordable.

So, what’s the cost of the Fortnite Spice skin (not to be mixed up with the Ice Spice from way back in Chapter 2 Remix)? Here’s what you need to know about the new Meow-o’-Lantern set.

Fortnite Spice skin

The Fortnite Spice skin is currently available in the Item Shop, but it’s set to disappear at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT on Friday, October 31, and 12am GMT on Saturday, November 1. The skin is part of a set, but the items aren’t sold as a bundle, meaning you’ll have to purchase each one separately.

Here’s all you need to know about the items in the Meow-o’-Lantern set:

  • Spice Outfit (Lego style included) – 800 V-Bucks
  • Treat Sack Back Bling – 300 V-Bucks
  • Trick Axe Pickaxe – 500 V-Bucks

Despite being a small bundle, everything in it offers good value for money. If you’re starting from scratch, you can buy a bundle of 2,800 V-Bucks for £17.49 / $22.99 / AU$30.35, or pick up 1,000 V-Bucks for £6.99 / $8.99 / $11.95 and top up the difference when prompted with the exact V-Bucks system in-game.

The Fortnite Spice skin is an affordable option for players looking to join in the Fortnitemares fun this year. Be sure to grab it before it leaves the Item Shop, as there’s no telling when it might be back.
