Blue Jays lead 3-1 in winner-take-all World Series Game 7

Fans flock one last time to Nathan Phillips Square

They could have watched it at a bar or in the comfort of their own home, but thousands came out again to Nathan Phillips Square, this time to watch the final game of the 2025 World Series.

It’s cold, and many are layered up, but this do-or-die Game 7 seems to have attracted the largest crowd since they’ve been hosting these watch parties, starting with Game 1.

It’s the site of Toronto’s city hall but during the World Series it has arguably become the largest outdoor watch party.

“Its just very good to be around people and be able to come together and watch the whole thing,” said Alex Budhram.

“When you’re at home you’re able to celebrate it by yourself and with your loved ones. But being able to come around people… it’s beautiful.”

Ariele Breedon said she brought her daughter Aubree and niece Alexis because she wanted them to experience this with everybody else.

It’s great, the atmosphere is great and we’re just waiting for them to win now.”
