The Cherokee Bluff softball team is one win away from playing for the Class AAA state championship after their quarter-finals win over Pickens Thursday in Columbus. Cherokee Bluff won the game 7-2, and will play Lafayette in the semi-finals at 5 PM.
North Hall lost their game to Lafayette 8-1 on Thursday. The Lady Trojans will play Pickens Friday morning in an elimination game as part of the double-elimination tournament.
