Richa Ghosh equalled the record for the most sixes hit in Women’s World Cups during the final of the 2025 edition against South Africa in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.
The wicketkeeper-batter struck two sixes in her innings to equal the record of 12 held by West Indies’ Deandra Dottin and South Africa’s Lizelle Lee.
Ahead of the summit clash, Harmanpreet Kaur held the record for most sixes by an Indian with 11 sixes in eight innings.
