Jaguars’ Brian Thomas Jr., Dyami Brown injured during game vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Las Vegas Raiders: Keys to victory

The Florida Times-Union gets you started with the keys to victory for the Jaguars against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown had to exit the game against the Las Vegas Raiders and is being evaluated for a concussion.

Brown remained down on the field after a kick return and was assisted to the medical tent before going to the locker room for further evaluation. He logged three catches on seven targets for 25 yards prior to his injury.

The Jaguars are already thin at the receiver position with rookie Travis Hunter being placed on the injured reserve list after suffering a non-contact knee injury during practice this week.

Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. also had his ankle tapped after being tackled from behind on a 34 yard catch and run. He returned to the game and was not given an injury designation by the team.

Brown was put on kickoff return for the first time during the Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams. The coaching staff thought he was well-suited to handle the returns with his catching ability and his speed.

The team will likely turn to rookie running back LeQuint Allen Jr. to replace him on kick returns. They’ll lean on Tim Jones, Austin Trammell, Parker Washington and Thomas on offense.
