NBCUniversal will again team up with iHeartMedia as its exclusive audio partner for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Running Feb. 6-22, 2026, the renewed partnership will bring comprehensive Olympic audio coverage to listeners nationwide through iHeartRadio’s digital platforms and podcasts.
Under the deal, iHeartRadio will offer 24/7 play-by-play audio channels featuring NBCUniversal’s live Olympic coverage, including Team USA events in ice hockey, figure skating, skiing, snowboarding, and other key competitions. The collaboration extends the success of their 2024 Paris Olympic partnership, which delivered record engagement across iHeart’s streaming and podcast network.
“Coming off the tremendous success we had in Paris, we’re excited to renew this partnership with iHeartMedia and provide fans with the best Olympic audio content,” Aileen Sokol, VP, Content Partnership Development, NBC Sports, said in the announcement. “This partnership allows iHeart’s extensive audio audience to hear NBCU’s Olympic coverage away from their televisions and screens.”
iHeartMedia will also expand its original Olympic storytelling. Comedians Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers will return as hosts of “Two Guys, Five Rings: Matt, Bowen & The Olympics,” which premieres in January and continues through the Games. Meanwhile, several iHeartPodcasts, including “Stuff You Missed in History Class,” “Ridiculous History,” “Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules,” and “Revisionist History” with Malcolm Gladwell, will feature Olympic-themed episodes.
