Over the years, there has been no shortage of theories about the existence of aliens from outer space. Many (most) of them are pretty bizarre or outlandish. This past Friday night, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, added one more unusual take on extraterrestrials to the pile.
Greene was a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher along with Dan Farah, the director of a new documentary about what the U.S. government really knows about UFOs called The Age of Disclosure. So, naturally, the conversation at one point shifted to the topic of aliens.
“You know what I found scary?” Maher asked his guests, referring to the film. “The part about the people at the Pentagon who say it’s demons. Tell them that story. Tell them about the demons.”
“So… in the film, one of the senior intelligence officials named Jay Stratton, he was the Director of Air and Space Warfare at the Defense Intelligence Agency,” Dan Farah then explained. “And then he ran the U.S. government’s UAP task force. He tells a story about how he was trying to run this issue up the flagpole and bring attention to it, at the Pentagon, in a serious office space, and, uh… his superiors told him that they thought these things were demons and that he was doing the devil’s work by looking into it.
“And on camera in the film, he says, ‘I can’t believe these words were coming out of their mouths.’ He’s like, ‘I’m briefing them on an advanced aerospace vehicle that’s absolutely there. It’s been spotted by trained observers like our Navy fighter pilots in their 80-million-dollar airplanes that we trust them with, right? It’s been spotted on data collection systems like satellite and radar. And this guy is telling me, “It’s a demon. It’s insane.”‘ And he’s like, ‘My mind was blown, and this is something I’m dealing with inside of the government.’”
Marjorie Taylor Greene believes aliens could actually be demons
Bill Maher then asked his guests, “Do you think demons and the devil are real?”
“Absolutely. I’m a Bible-believing Christian,” Marjorie Taylor Greene replied. “And I believe those could be fallen angels. I definitely believe. And I believe those could be fallen angels. All these things could be real.”
“Fallen angels?” Maher then asked. “That the aliens are fallen angels?”
“That’s possible. I think that’s what they could be,” Greene replied. “That’s what makes sense in my worldview.”
Bill Maher then asks journalist and The Fifth Column podcast host Michael Moynihan if he believes what Green is saying. With an exasperated look on his face, Moynihan replied, “No. No. Sorry.”
