Suns Star Is Quietly Putting Up Career-Best Numbers

All Phoenix Suns fans knew that this season would be a transitional one for their team.
With that comes some frustration and disappointment, but also excitement about the future.
The Suns have certainly faced their fair share of adversity so far in 2025-26, but their best player has become even better.
As noted by Evan Sidery on X, Devin Booker is “quietly averaging” a career-high in points with 30.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 7.4 assists on a 64.9 true shooting percentage and 45.6 percent from the three-point range.
The Suns ended the Spurs’ undefeated run with a 130-118 win led by Devin Booker’s 28 points and 13 assists.

Booker’s hard work paid off on Sunday, as the Suns put an end to the San Antonio Spurs’ undefeated streak with a 130-118 win.
During that game, MVP candidate Victor Wembanyama was just about non-existent with nine points, nine rebounds, and two assists.
He’s never been bad, but most people this boost from Booker this year because of the big changes that came to Phoenix in the summer.
Without Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, the Suns have become Booker’s team.
He has been given more responsibilities and control over his squad and is clearly their central player.
Still, most fans don’t envision the Suns becoming one of the best teams in the West.
They are currently 3-4, which isn’t horrid, but it isn’t great either.
They may not be in the mix for a championship, but they could be a fun and exciting team that makes an impact in the play-in tournament or playoffs.
Booker is posting career-high numbers, and he had a great night on Sunday, but the Suns’ struggles probably aren’t going away.
