Kevin Durant on Cooper Flag: ‘He’s going to be a hell of a player’

Kevin Durant has played in the NBA for almost two decades, already cementing his spot as one of the greatest players of all time and having played alongside some other amazing players during his career.

So when he speaks about up-and-coming guys in the NBA, you should listen.

After Durant and the Houston Rockets beat former Duke star and No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks this week, the two-time NBA champion had nothing but high praise for the rookie.

“I think that he’s going to be a hell of a player,” Durant told DallasHoopsJournal.com. “I think that he’s going to be such a nightmare… that… he’ll be considered one of the best of all time.”

Those are massive words coming from the former NBA MVP and two-time NBA Finals MVP. And while Flagg has stated that the transition to the pros has been tough so far, having Durant say those words about you must help your confidence.
