Arizona celebrity chef found guilty of murdering wife, kids on Christmas 2017

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Valley celebrity chef Anthony Milan Ross has been found guilty of killing his wife and children on Christmas Day in 2017.
On Monday, a Maricopa County jury found Ross guilty on all three counts of first-degree murder in the murder of his estranged wife, Iris, and his two children, 11-year-old Nigel and 10-month-old Anora.
He was also found guilty on three counts of aggravated assault stemming from the murder and 17 counts of aggravated assault on a peace officer, because when police stormed the apartment, Ross reportedly shot at officers who fired back during a hours-long standoff with Phoenix PD.
Ross was well-known for making a number of local television appearances, including on 3TV’s Good Morning Arizona, where he was interviewed at the Scottsdale Food Festival nearly one year before the killings.
During opening statements in September, prosecutors described Ross as someone obsessed with being a celebrity, whose success was a facade, and whose world came crashing down when his wife filed for divorce six months before the murders.
Sentencing is set for Jan. 9, 2026.
