The Christmas Pageant begins early Saturday morning on South Terrace with the first organisers on site at 2:45am.
The colourful, vibrant annual parade signals the arrival of Santa and spreads goodwill throughout the streets of Adelaide.
Pageant Director Brian Gilbertson said to Sonya, Jules & Bobby Macumber, “There’s a lot of little things that happen around this amazingly, massive event”.
