Montana Tech cancels classes after losing power

BUTTE, Mont. — Montana Tech announced it canceled all afternoon classes after a power outage on Friday.
Officials say Northwestern Energy is working to resolve the issue and it is currently unknown when power will be restored.
Officials expect this to be a multi-hour event and asking all non-essential faculty and staff members to work from home, if possible, for the rest of the day.
