Jordan Ayew will play on the left wing with the Ghanaian and Patson Daka both returning to the Leicester City starting line-up.
Ayew replaces Jeremy Monga out wide for his first City start in four matches. Daka, who started against Wrexham and Swansea before being used as a substitute against Portsmouth, comes back in up front.
Two further changes see Boubakary Soumare return to the line-up in place of Saturday’s goalscorer Aaron Ramsey, who is only on the bench.
And as expected, Hamza Choudhury comes in at right-back, with captain Ricardo Pereira rested, perhaps to protect his hamstrings amid a quick turnaround.
Ayew is called upon to play as a winger with Stephy Mavididi and now Bobby De Cordova-Reid out with hamstring injuries and with Monga not reaching his usual heights at the weekend.
Monga is on the bench, along with another young winger in Silko Thomas. Joining them there are Julian Carranza, who is again among the substitutes after making his first start at the weekend, while Victor Kristiansen is called up to the squad amid De Cordova-Reid’s absence.
Besides Choudhury, there are no changes to the back-line, as Wout Faes, Jannik Vestergaard and Luke Thomas retain their spots.
Harry Winks and Jordan James again play in midfield while Abdul Fatawu starts on the wing.
City (4-3-3): Stolarczyk; Choudhury, Faes, Vestergaard, L Thomas; Winks, Soumare, James; Fatawu, Daka, Ayew.
Subs: Begovic, Ricardo, Kristiansen, Okoli, Skipp, Ramsey, Monga, S Thomas, Carranza.
