Asian youth chart shared future in Nanjing dialogue event

The inaugural “Dialogue with the Future for Asian Youth from Sister-cities” event commenced in Nanjing, China, drawing over a thousand international students from various regions across Asia. Held on May 24, this significant gathering focused on sustainable development and cultural diversity, showcasing the commitment of young leaders to address pressing global issues.
The event was co-hosted by notable organizations, including Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, Jiangsu Association for the Development of International Communication at Colleges and Universities, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The theme, “New Asian Generation: Technology, Culture, and a Sustainable Future,” served as a backdrop for cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration.
Participants engaged in a wide array of activities that blended academic discussions with cultural presentations, highlighting the rich artistic heritage of Asia. A standout moment was the certification of select attendees as “Asian Youth Media Envoys,” an initiative aimed at empowering these young individuals as storytellers who can connect narratives from their home countries.
Keynote speeches delivered by professors from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Shanghai International Studies University offered insights into the connections between brain science and artificial intelligence.
