Kash Patel’s Girlfriend Files Defamation Lawsuit

Alexis Wilkins, a country music singer and partner of FBI Director Kash Patel, has filed a defamation suit against Sam Parker, a former U.S. Senate candidate in Utah, accusing him of suggesting in a series of social media posts that she could be a “honeypot” secretly working for Israeli intelligence.
Newsweek has contacted Wilkins’s attorney via email and Parker via social media message outside of regular working hours for comment.
Why It Matters
The lawsuit comes days after Patel publicly defended Wilkins and condemned “baseless rumors or the noise from uninformed internet anarchists and the fake news,” describing her as a “true patriot and the woman I’m proud to call my partner in life.”
It’s not the first time that Wilkins has sued over these rumours. Wilkins is currently suing Kyle Seraphin, a former FBI agent, for defamation in connection with the allegation that she is a spy.
The court filing in that case reads that “Seraphin has maliciously lied about Alexis Wilkins, falsely asserting that she—an American-born country singer—is an agent of a foreign government, assigned to manipulate and compromise the Director of the FBI.”
What To Know
“Defendant Samuel Parker has repeatedly lied about Alexis Wilkins, falsely asserting and suggesting that she—an American-born country singer—is an agent of a foreign government, assigned to manipulate and compromise the Director of the FBI,” Wilkins’ lawsuit, filed in federal court, says.
Parker is “using this fabricated story as fund-raising click-bait, and has spread it to over 1.3 million viewers,” the suit says. “Accordingly, Ms. Wilkins seeks to hold Defendant accountable for his malicious and knowing lies.”
Wilkins, who was raised in Arkansas and is now based in Nashville, is seeking $5,000,000 in damages.
Parker describes himself on his “BasedSamParker” social media page as a “Neofederalist, America First Nationalist”.
Parker, who ran for Senate in 2018 but failed to qualify for the Republican primary, made headlines earlier this year after calling for the deportation of American singer Selena Gomez after she shared a tearful video about President Donald Trump’s immigration policy. Gomez, who was born in Texas, responded to Parker via an Instagram story and said, “Thanks for the laugh and the threat.”
Wilkin’s attorney describes her in the lawsuit as “a Christian, American-born, United States citizen” who is “unaffiliated with any intelligence agency, much less the government of Israel.”
They added in the filing that “Ms. Wilkins has never even been to Israel.”
As of reporting, Parker has not publicly responded to the lawsuit. However, Seraphin had previously made comments online about legal filings when sharing a post of Parker’s. In a post on November 3, he wrote on X, “I’ll take “how to catch a lawsuit from the FBI Director’s girlfriend” for $500, Alex.”
What People Are Saying
Kash Patel, the director of the FBI in a post on X on November 2: “The disgustingly baseless attacks against Alexis — a true patriot and the woman I’m proud to call my partner in life — are beyond pathetic. She is a rock-solid conservative and a country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in ten lifetimes. I’m so blessed she’s in my life. Attacking her isn’t just wrong — it’s cowardly and jeopardizes our safety. My love of family will always be my cornerstone, and you will never tear that down or keep me from them.”
The legal filing reads in part: “Ms. Wilkins seeks to hold Defendant accountable for his malicious and knowing lies.”
