ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WSBT) — The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team (FACT) identified the victim of a deadly crash on Wednesday on Cleveland Road.
The crash happened near Swanson Drive and Cleveland Road at around 1:30 p.m. on November 5, 2025.
Edward Joseph Dunne, 72, of South Bend died in the collision after his eastbound car crossed the center line and struck a westbound pickup truck, according to indications from FACT’s initial report.

The driver and only occupant of the car was found dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck is cooperating with police and was taken to the hospital. The crash remains under investigation by FACT.
