Some snow squalls could hit the Grey Bruce region later today.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for the region, which says heavy lake effect snow is possible this evening, overnight and into tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
“Colder northerly winds will result in the development of lake effect snow off Georgian Bay Monday, with the intensity expected to increase later in the day or tonight,” Environment Canada says in its statement.
A few centimetres of flurries are in the forecast today, with squalls possible late this afternoon. Tonight, 10-20 centimetres of flurries and squalls could fall.
