The John Cena retirement tour is coming to a close with only four appearances left at the time of this writing.
With WWE Survivor Series 2025 set to mark his final premium live event appearance, reports circulated that Cena could be in line to face Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.
After “Dirty Dom” was confronted by his father Rey Mysterio on the November 3 episode of WWE Raw, it seems like this Cena match has been changed to a battle of father and son in their hometown of San Diego.
However, fans could still see Cena defeat Dominik in one of his final dates to win the one title that has eluded him throughout his career by capturing the Intercontinental Championship and becoming a Grand Slam Champion before he retires.
