Chipotle Celebrates Veterans With Special Offer

On Veterans Day, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 11, Chipotle Mexican Grill is offering any service member who presents a valid military ID and purchases an entree with a second for free.
Why It Matters
This initiative aligns with Chipotle’s ongoing support for veterans. The restaurant chain employs nearly 800 former service members and recently launched a workshop to help hiring managers improve veteran recruitment and retention. It’s also been a long-term supporter and partner of Folds of Honor—a nonprofit organization that offers educational scholarships to families of U.S. military service members who have either fallen or been disabled while serving the country—raising over $2.1 million for the program since 2021.
What To Know
On Tuesday, November 11, Chipotle will be running a Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) offer at all of its U.S. restaurants. This will give any service member who shows a valid military ID and purchases an entree, in-restaurant, a second for free.
Service members can claim up to five free entrees per bill (for every free serving, they must have purchased one of equal or higher value), and can choose from Chipotle’s classic bowls, burritos, salads, and taco entrées.
The promotion is only valid for diners eating at one of Chipotle’s U.S. restaurants—of which there are 3,900, in 1,887 cities across 49 states in the U.S.—and doesn’t, therefore, apply to catering, mobile, online, or delivery orders.
Alongside its Veterans Day BOGO offer, Chipotle will also support veteran-focused causes through its “Round Up for Real Change” program. Between November 11 and November 16, customers can choose to round up their bill to the nearest dollar at checkout, with the remainder donated to the United Service Organizations, which supports active-duty service members and military families nationwide.
What People Are Saying
In the official press release, Chris Brandt, president and chief brand officer at Chipotle, said: “As a small token of our gratitude, we’re inviting veterans and the military community to share a meal with someone they care about this Veterans Day. Their courage and commitment inspire us every day, and we’re honored to serve those who serve our country.”
What Happens Next
Chipotle’s Veterans Day promotion is a one-day event, which will take place on November 11, 2025, but the chain will continue supporting the military community through its existing hiring, educational, and fundraising initiatives.
